Background: Ethics is one of the most important pillars of Persian educational thought and literature, and many Persian-speaking scholars have tried to explain its theoretical and practical foundations. Among Persian-speaking poets, Naser Khosrow Qobadiani is one of the figures who has proposed ethics in a deep connection with philosophical and religious ideas. His poems contain a set of moral and educational teachings that have been formed on the basis of specific epistemological foundations. This research, using a descriptive-analytical research method and based on library study, has tried to examine and explain the philosophical and educational foundations of ethics in Naser Khosrow’s poems.
Conclusion: The results show that Naser Khosrow’s ethical system is based on three main foundations: reason, religion, and conscience. In his thought, reason is the first divine creation and the fundamental criterion for distinguishing good and evil, and through it, man is able to evaluate and choose moral behaviors. Religion, as a divine guide and complement to reason, clarifies the correct path of moral life and gives meaning to the end of moral values in relation to divine truth. Alongside these two, conscience, as an inner force and self-monitoring factor, calls man to practical commitment to moral principles and observance of justice in human relations. In summary, it can be said that morality in Nasser Khosrow's thought is based on guided reasoning, conscious faith, and conscientious responsibility, and these three elements together provide a coherent model of moral education.
